Former Melbourne girl, Kit Willow, is set to launch her flagship Melbourne store in hip Malvern Road, Hawksburn. The announcement follows Willow's decision not to show at the up and coming 2009 New York Fashion Week, citing the global economic downturn as a key factor in the decision. Willow's boutique in Sydney's Paddington has established Willow as one of Australia's most cutting edge labels. Willow's progression from upmarket lingerie pieces to cutting edge day and eveningwear, and most recently jewellery, has been nothing short of meteoritic with many of last years ‘It' dresses sporting the Willow label.
