As much as I love Gmail, those pesky ads that respond to the jist of incoming emails (through key word surveillance) have bothered me for sometime. Now you can do something about them. Joe McKay noticed certain sensitive or disturbing phases cancelled out Google's ads. Try sending a message with the term "suicide genocide polkacide" or "tragedy school shooting" embedded in the email (with a explanitary note to the receipient!) and see what happens. More on Joe's discovery here.
