Tasty accessories

Local Melbourne jeweller Lucy Folk is the brain behind this gorgeous accessory. Her three collections are called Seafood, Pasta and Nibbles - who knows what food group will be next? The food inspiration comes from hanging around her father’s café from when she was knee high to a grasshopper. Her jewellery is stocked at Alice Euphemia in Melbourne’s CBD and Arabella Ramsay in Armadale. Ahh what a clever cookie!

For coffee addicts

Melbourne is known for good coffee. Since most of us have two or more coffees per day the non-recyclable cups contribute to an enormous amount of landfill. So as a means to maintain coffee drinking standards and save the environment, Abigail and Jamie Forsyth created the KeepCup. The KeepCup is reusable and colours can be mixed and matched to your liking! Baristas all over Melbourne are happy to put your coffee in your own eco-to-go cup! Stylish and reusable - Loves it!

Sock it up!

Has anyone notice this hideous winter trend of socks and open toe shoes? I think comes close to being as tragic as crocs! As you can see above, Burberry tried to make it work, but it is just looks like a 1940’s wannabe housewife! Thoughts?

Fancy a shag?

Shag, I'm not talking about the British term for getting it on, but rather my favourite vintage shop! Located all around Melbourne each store feels like you have stepped back in time and fallen deep into your grandmother's closet! Eye-popping colours from the 60's, big fur coats from the 70's and shoulder pads straight out of the 80's there isn't one fad they have missed out! Different types of shoes line the bottom of the racks and glass cabinets are packed with large faux diamond rings and oversizes necklaces. So the next time you feel like having a bit of fun with fashion, or you simply have decade dress up party head to Shag for some inspiration!
