In a daze….

Following the increased popularity of creating short films in the fashion world, Sharif Hamza has blown the youth revolt out of the water with this wicked rebellion, "The Outsiders". Having used inspiration from the popular UK hit show, Skins, the models appear wild, carefree and look unbearably smoldering dressed in McQ, Benetton, Givenchy, Roberto Cavilli, Dolce & Gabbana and Levi's. This is one group of youth you don't want to mess with. To view the film, click here!

I am woman hear me roar..

Never being one to stick to conventional, Kit Willow has commenced the launch of her Spring Summer 2011 with a fierce growl, choosing to use video marketing to get the attention of Fashion critics. The short film titled Lady into Cat, is beautifully isolated and wild, showcasing the ‘Untamed Wisdom' collection on Australian model, Emma Balfour. The short film is some of fashion photographer, Sharif Hamza's best work, capturing the seductiveness of the fashion, the wilderness and the majestic puma seen lurking throughout the film. Witness the wild at its best at www.willowltdcom

Tasty accessories

Local Melbourne jeweller Lucy Folk is the brain behind this gorgeous accessory. Her three collections are called Seafood, Pasta and Nibbles - who knows what food group will be next? The food inspiration comes from hanging around her father’s café from when she was knee high to a grasshopper. Her jewellery is stocked at Alice Euphemia in Melbourne’s CBD and Arabella Ramsay in Armadale. Ahh what a clever cookie!

For coffee addicts

Melbourne is known for good coffee. Since most of us have two or more coffees per day the non-recyclable cups contribute to an enormous amount of landfill. So as a means to maintain coffee drinking standards and save the environment, Abigail and Jamie Forsyth created the KeepCup. The KeepCup is reusable and colours can be mixed and matched to your liking! Baristas all over Melbourne are happy to put your coffee in your own eco-to-go cup! Stylish and reusable - Loves it!

Fancy a shag?

Shag, I'm not talking about the British term for getting it on, but rather my favourite vintage shop! Located all around Melbourne each store feels like you have stepped back in time and fallen deep into your grandmother's closet! Eye-popping colours from the 60's, big fur coats from the 70's and shoulder pads straight out of the 80's there isn't one fad they have missed out! Different types of shoes line the bottom of the racks and glass cabinets are packed with large faux diamond rings and oversizes necklaces. So the next time you feel like having a bit of fun with fashion, or you simply have decade dress up party head to Shag for some inspiration!

Hanging bottles

Hanging bottles

Richmond is home to many top bars but my personal favourite is Der Raum. Ok so when you walk in and peer over the bar it might look like some weird science class but don't let dry ice and cups on fire frighten you! They have won numerous awards such as cocktail list of the year, the world's Top Ten Bar's for 2009 and Bartender of the year. The roof over the bar area is covered with hanging bottles and tools to make the unique signature cocktails. Some of the Der Raum classics consist of "Pharmacy" which is served with a citrus pill, syringe filled with sweet Italian bitters and a pot filled with pear and roasted capsicum gin. A clever mix of themes, ideas and flavours its definitely a must see!
