Seeing Double

Taking the age old wisdom, "If life gives you lemons, make lemonade" seriously, Pakayla Biehn has taken her eye disorder and turned it into a rare gift which allows her to produce such mind blowing pieces. With an eye disorder, which causes double vision, Pakalya is able reproduce the way she interprets the world through her altered vision. In her Double Exposure Series, Biehn has created oil and acrylic pieces which resemble a slow shutter speed photo, allowing beautiful natural colors and shadows to reign free.
To see the world through Biehn's eyes make sure you check out her webpage, which showcases the new series : youshouldtakecare.com

Let your fingers do the walking

If fine art forms aren't your style and the Renaissance makes your eyes want to fall out of your head just so they don't have to witness any more pretty pictures then you need to let your senses experience Ronit Baranga. You'll feel like everything you thought you knew about art is being swept from under your feet. Explosive and a little bit creepy, Ronit Baranga has created sculptured pieces that are bound to excite even the hardest critics. Playing on the idea that still objects have the will to create movement, the collection takes a new look on form, movement and the human body. Unless you're planning on visiting Israel anytime soon, then you'll be hard pressed finding the collection, until then let your eyeballs drool at : www.ronitbaranga.com
