With an eye disorder, which causes double vision, Pakalya is able reproduce the way she interprets the world through her altered vision. In her Double Exposure Series, Biehn has created oil and acrylic pieces which resemble a slow shutter speed photo, allowing beautiful natural colors and shadows to reign free.
