It’s been years in the making but the time has come for the mother of all European labels to hit our shores. . . Zara! The Spanish brand has become a part of every travellers suitcase and now we won't have to use an aeroplane to get those fabulous designs. No one knows if Sydney or Melbourne will be the lucky location but all we know is who cares???? ITS COMING TO AUS!!!!!!

The once famed Candy bar in Greville St Prahran has undergone a delicious transformation! Now known as Ladro, the new modern Italian pizza joint is the place to see and be seen. With a contemporary interior this place still has the warm feel of an authentic Italian restaurant that you would find in Carlton. Open for both lunch and dinner we recommend the Scout and the Boscaiola thin-based pizzas! It is also worth leaving room for the Bomboloni- Italian doughnuts with vanilla ice cream and blood orange syrup!.....Salivation is at a whole new level!

A coat that stands the test of time

The trench coat made famous by Burberry, Humphrey Bogart and Inspector gadget appears every winter in Melbourne. In an array or colours, shapes and sizes it is the original beige colour, which remains the classic piece year after year. So why is that it doesn’t date?  I guess it is the classic cut which seems to flatter most shapes and sizes. The lining of the coat appears to be just as important as the outer. Burberry’s classic plaid lining is what makes it distinct from all the copycats! But at the end of the day no matter what brand of trench you choose to buy pairing it with big black heels, the coat will always scream effortlessly chic.

Love them or loath them, one of the seasons hottest trends is the clog. From Chanel to Sportsgirl everyone is putting their wooden foot forward. I’m not sure if it’s possible to rock a blazer and tight black pants with a pair of clogs- too heavy no? What are your thoughts?

Looking for a groovy mode of transportation? Well I think we have just found it! Jelly Bean Bikes are the latest creation rolling around the streets of Melbourne. For $599 you can use a rainbow for inspiration and choose any colours you like to customise. If you can't decide on what colour bike you are then take a few for a spin test. It's a great way to shed some flab and be kinder to the environment! Those professional, lycra wearing cyclists, who yell out "passing" are sure to be jealous that they are no longer the cycling trendsetters!
