Bright eyed and bushy tailed

Soomi Park is the creative genius behind this lashtastic invention. LED lashes are aimed to widen and brighten small eyes. It features a mercury sensor, which is sensitive to movements of the pupil and the eyelid. Its kinda creepy, kinda cool and Kinda will be fabulous for the Queens!

Carrie Bradshaw wishes

Carrie Bradshaw wishes

This is bathing at its finest! Italian designer Massimiliano Della Monaca created this unique bath covered in exotic mosaics. These tubs are custom designed and will set you back $17, 000. The water flows from the top of the heel and slides all the way down. I think they should have used Carrie Bradshaw as their pin up girl in this photo. She could have been “the woman who literally bathed in her shoe”! This has taken luxury and femineity to a whole new level, loves it!

CHUNKY MOVE PRESENTS BLACK MARROW

For the Melbourne International Arts Festival, Chunky Move presented Black Marrow by choreographers Erna Omarsdottir and Damien Jalet at the Malthouse Theatre on Sturt street. Both Erna and Damien have always been interested in what influences and succeeds civilization alongside the forgotten rituals from our ancestors. For this production they created an alternative energy of what was, is and will be in regards to our relationship with the land and our planet. It was a performance providing a window into another plane and visceral world.

Not so chic

Sure the French have style, sure they have flair but this time they got it oh so wrong! French fashion designer Vanessa Bruno showcased her Spring 2010 line, which took a nod from yesteryear! For this collection she used knee warmers, which she borrowed from the 80’s. I think there’s a reason why we haven’t seen them since then! They really add zero value! So Bruno merci, but stick to what you know and don’t go backwards for inspiration!

Everybody needs good Neighbours

Being born and bred in England, the TV show Neighbours has always been watched by myself or family and friends over the last few decades. So now living in Melbourne, it was compulsory for me to go to the Neighbours night at the Elephant and Wheelbarrow in St Kilda to meet a few of the stars and take part in the trivia and games and report back to England about my experience.

Christian calls them cankles

The King of fabulous shoes, his royal highness, Monsieur Christian Louboutin has just joined forces with Mattel to create three new dolls! His inspiration is drawn from Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe ahh look out Barbie! After working with Barbie, Louboutin felt the need to make her ankles a little smaller because they appeared to be looking a little canklish. In true Louboutin style he has already created pink stilettos with his signature red sole to solve her ankle dilemma. These collectors items will set you back US $150, but if you think about it, the doll comes with an additional four pairs of mini Loub shoes and she is packaged in a Louboutin shoe box. Worth every penny in my pocket!
