You wouldn't believe it, but Barbie is turning 50! From the 26th June to the 12th July Melbourne is hosting Barbie's 50th Birthday Party with the Forever Barbie exhibition at Fed Square. She has to be the ‘perfect' role model for every woman, seemingly not aging a day since 1959 (when she was first created). 100% plastic Barbie has been strutting her stuff all over the world ever since she left school.

Karl Lagerfeld has designed the costume for ‘The Dying Swan' for the English National Ballets performance of Ballet Russes, to be staged at the Sadler's Wells in London this month.
