Olivia is a full time Journalism student at Monash University. Over the next month she will be helping the team at ICON PR. Like every female she has a love of clothing and hopes to be apart of that industry someday. As a mini globetrotter, she has gained insight into many cultures and locations. She loves to explore new places and photographs them one click at a time.
Grace Keeling
Grace is Icon’s favourite red-head! After working with a London based PR firm last year with P&G beauty products, including Max Factor, Pantene and Head and Shoulders, Grace is now with Icon.pr working with many corporate and lifestyle clients. She loves the arts, first and foremost, the theatre! That is, being in the audience, directing performance, being part of the cast or helping backstage! She has reviewed all kinds of theatre as well as writing a dissertation on the performance of Shakespeare during her English Literature degree.

Chris is a graphic designer, artist and Founding Director of Icon.Inc - a boutique marketing and interactive agency based in Melbourne, Australia. As a 20 year industry veteran, Chris has worked his way through street magazine paste-up, bromide cameras, desktop publishing, the birth of the web, and social media’s boom. He completed a Masters by Research degree at RMIT’s School of Creative Media (AIM) in 2008, and is busily establishing the Australian Centre of Virtual Art.

Genevieve spent almost a decade in the fashion industry during which time she lived in over fifteen cities, including Toyko, Milan and Amsterdam. An avid collector of the beautiful and unusual, she is obsessed with textiles, ceramics and anything Japanese. Genevieve holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing, an Advanced Diploma in Public Relations and currently heads up icon.pr, a Melbourne based communications agency.
Nicole Wright
Nicole travelled extensively for many years before settling down in Melbourne to work for the philanthropic trust The IOOF Foundation. In her years away Nicole worked in not-for-profit event planning and volunteering. Nicole’s latest passions are legislating for pedestrian foot path lanes (one for the dawdlers and the clueless the other for those actually tying to get somewhere) Mongolian throat singing and tap dancing. Nicole is currently undertaking a post graduate diploma in Philanthropic and Social Investment.
Jo Painter
Joanne is a news and information junkie, having spent much of her career in print journalism, communications and PR. In 2000 she ditched her job as a senior business writer at The Age and joined hubby Chris’s fledgling graphic design firm Icon. It was the start of a wonderful partnership that led to Icon becoming one of Melbourne’s leading integrated design and marketing agencies. More recently she and colleague Genevieve Brannigan joined forces to create icon.pr, a boutique communications agency. When she’s not building companies, Joanne enjoys time out with her family, horse Archie and poodles Sally and Harpo.
Josh Janssen
Josh seems to spend the majority of his time on either his computer or iphone. As well as being a geek, Josh is the manager of MediaFlex, a media production business, specialising in video, based in Melbourne, Australia. He loves slicing up video, writing, eating chocolate and admiring good art and design. He has also studied film and television at The University of Melbourne, Victorian College of the Arts, Foundations.
Kate Spencer
Kate is a sculptor who works in Melbourne on a range of commissions, public works & exhibitions. Before completely her BA Honors in Sculpture at RMIT she gained a degree for Anthropology & Environmental studies at the University of Victoria (British Columbia, Canada). Her research marries these fields of study creating objects which explore the breaking down and blurring of social and cultural conventions.
Daniel Jenkins
Daniel has spent the last 10 years in the fashion industry as a stylist and hair and makeup artist. During this time his work has been published in fashion magazines in Australia and abroad and has worked in some of Australia’s top salons. At present he studying fitness and personal training and plans to get a degree in nutrition. Dan is generally a happy go lucky kinda guy, though he does however tend to get disgruntled at the world and the people that inhabit it- in his blogs, he shares with us what inspires him but also, what annoys him.
Danel Dowling
Daniel has been interested in film and theatre for most of his life. Having finishing a degree in Economics & English he did a short spell with Goldman Sachs in Melbourne. After this he moved to DDB advertising where he did his diploma in Advertising, Marketing & PR by night. He is now completing a Masters in Broadcast Production at the National Film School Dublin. When Dan isn’t working he’s probably in the kitchen. An avid chef for years, Dan did a spell in south east Asia where he picked up a few tricks.
